Program launch
The program was officially launched as part of Quebec Family Week which took place in May 2021. On this occasion, a video capsule was produced in which Mathieu Lacombe, the Minister of Families, says a few words, and Valérie Fontaine, Montérégienne author, tells her story entitled Le lit de Delfouine.
A “Grow a reader” program for children ages 0 to 6
Reading makes me grow!
Share 1001 stories with me was developed to promote a taste for reading in children aged 0 to 6, a key period in the development of their reading habits and their language.
It is inspired by the program set up by the Beloeil’s library.
The Association des bibliothèques publiques de la Montérégie recognizes the financial contribution of the Gouvernement du Québec for the realization of this program.
